Hilda street, hawthorn

Set within a traditional Hawthorn terrace, the project reimagines the home through a lens of restraint, where heritage form meets a quiet, contemporary interior language.

A softened palette of natural stone and pale timbers defines the spaces, allowing light to become the primary material. Expressive stone elements are introduced as sculptural moments within an otherwise pared-back framework, anchoring the kitchen and living zones with weight and permanence.

Joinery is resolved as a series of continuous planes, concealing function and reinforcing a sense of calm order. Openings and glazing draw natural light deep into the plan, where it shifts across surfaces and reveals the subtle texture of each material throughout the day.

On the drawing board… stay tuned.
