Nestled within the subterranean basement level, this interior sequence was conceived as a moment of deceleration, where tactile warmth and tonal materiality converge to evoke stillness.
The design pivots around the interplay of solid limestone and deep-stained timber, creating a language of weight and calm. A quiet tension exists between the robust permanence of the stone and the refined tactility of the leather and timber joinery.
The bench seating and custom stone ledge were designed as sculptural insertions.
The detailing is intentionally reductive; joinery handles are omitted, and power outlets are embedded seamlessly into the stone, reinforcing the purity of form and material.
